NEWI Nets are proud to introduce the newest member of the team... Urban Fusion!
Urban Fusion are a North Wales based Street Hip Hop Dance Crew. They'll be at every NEWI Nets home game putting on a fantastic, unique show. Any fans who were at the Nets final home game last season will have got a sneak preview of what Urban Fusion are all about as they performed for the first time at a basketball game.
Urban Fusion come to the NEWI Nets with an already glowing history of awards. The following highlights some of the achievements they have already achieved:
- Recently competed in the 2006 World Street Dance Championships in Blackpool where they finished 1st and 2nd in numerous events including: individual heats and the team event, just to name a few!
- Featured in a music video for the dance DJ Liquid in the song Get Down.
- Over 100 dancers ranging from 6 years old up to adult ages from all over North Wales.
- Their most recent accomplishment is to be named as the official dancers of the DEE 106.3 radio show’s touring road show.
The NEWI Nets would like to welcome Urban Fusion to the team and hope they enjoy helping to create the NEWI Nets atmosphere we all love to see!!
